Candour

Community impact

At Candour, we are committed to making a positive contribution to our local community. We pledge to work with a chosen charity partner each year to help them to grow by using the enthusiasm and expert skills of our team.

We have recently launched a new website for The Feed, a local charity and social enterprise that provides training opportunities in catering to those who face a barrier to employment such as homelessness, mental health and addiction issues.

Lucy Parish, General Manager at The Feed, initially contacted Candour for a quote for the design and build of a new website. We looked at how we could approach on a limited budget but quickly decided that we wanted to do more. Charities that help provide opportunities into work resonate strongly with the Candour team. We felt that The Feed were ideal candidates for our charity partner and pledged to design and build their new website as a pro-bono project.

We really enjoyed working with Lucy and her incredible team to refresh their visual identity and create a site that does justice to the vital work they are doing in the community.

The Feed welcomes support from the community either by donation, volunteering, visits to their cafe on Prince of Wales Road in Norwich or orders from their (absolutely delicious) catering services.

Previous partnerships
Candour previously partnered with Walking With The Wounded, a locally-based charity that provides support nationally to injured ex-servicemen and women to help them regain their independence. We provided a day a month pro-bono design and marketing support across their various activities.
