Alex Pond and his colleagues at Absolute Genius (AG) are on a mission to help businesses to become more sustainable (and indeed profitable) by aligning themselves to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Candour is delighted to have engaged with AG as a delivery partner as they deliver world-class solutions to some incredible businesses.
AG were category sponsors at the 10th annual Responsible Business Awards held at 8 Northumberland Avenue in the heart of the West End and very kindly invited Candour to join them on their table. Keira and I were delighted to accept and spent an inspiring evening in their company.
The awards celebrate the very best in responsible business practices and winners included The Body Shop, Kimberley Clark and Maersk.
Also among the winners was Paul Polman, ex-CEO of Unilever, who gave an impassioned speech about the urgency and scale of the climate emergency. His new venture, Imagine, aims to help buisnesses address that challenge as well those of the eradication of poverty and inequality.
It was a truly inspiring event and has given us even more motivation to ensure Candour can be a sustainable business.
