01

The challenge

Specialist MGAs iFarm and iSure are part of the Aventum group, and both needed a refresh to match the sophistication of their parent brand. This project brought the exciting opportunity to develop their brands and websites in tandem.

Non-identical siblings

We wanted iSure and iFarm to feel related so we designed the identities to have some similar elements, including their logos which are both inspired by the ‘i’. The rest of the branding is bespoke to each company, allowing each to play to its strengths.

Agriculturally-focused iFarm are keen on personal relationships, so we created an image-led brand which brings people and farming to the fore.

For tech-driven iSure, we created illustration-led branding that is flexible enough to work across a range of products including Medical and Sports insurance underwriting.

Design efficiencies

The two companies operate similar services so we were able to define a single site structure that applies to both but still provides concise user journeys to each one.

We created a design system with elements that could be used on both sites. Modular components are then built on this, with different styling applied for each site to reflect the different branding.

The results

The two new websites offer a much-improved experience for users. For the client, the additional benefit was the improved efficiency of running the design and build of both in parallel, leading to time and cost savings for the project.
