The digital technology showcase

For any business owner, 'digital' can be intimidating, not least because it's hard enough to find time to run your business while staying on top of ever-changing technology, but, who can you ask for advice that won't just be trying to sell their solution?

This is exactly why nor(DEV), along with TechEast and Barclays Eagle lab have put on The Digital Technology Showcase.

When: Monday 29th October at 6:30pm

Where: The King's Centre, King Street, Norwich, NR1 1PH

Free tickets: https://www.meetup.com/Norfolk-Developers-NorDev/events/252875683/

Is this event for you?

  • Ever thought that technology could help your business but weren’t sure how?
  • Have you wanted to talk to experts about the advantages of business software but were afraid of being given a hard sell?
  • Do you have questions about software and technology but were unsure who to ask?

The event is aimed to be informative and informal, providing you with access to technology companies without jargon and without push sales pitches.

What to expect

The evening is split into two parts and kicks off at 6:30pm with introductions to Norwich's supportive tech community who will be offering workshops and advice to everyone from novices to experts first.

You will see:

  • SyncNorwich - working to promote startups and enable local tech businesses to grow.
  • DevelopHER - tirelessly promoting equality in technology and host the successful DevelopHER awards, recognising women in technology.
  • Norfolk Developers - A group focussing on practical skills and hardcore software developing and run the annual nor(DEV): conference.
  • Hot Source - A creative community group that aims to promote digital enterprise in our region.

The second half of the evening will give tech companies a chance to explain what they do, how it can benefit you and answer any questions you might have.

Come and speak with Candour

We'll be sharing our thoughts on the benefits of embracing digital technology in the second half of the evening. We're particularly excited about taking part as the 'non-sales' and open approach to talking about technology has always been how we go about things.

You'll hear from our Creative Director, John, who will be giving real-world examples of how you can put software to work to drive down costs and grow your brand.

Tickets are going quickly, so RSVP to make sure you get a place.
