A re-launched site was underperforming in search and wasn’t catching the users it should have been.
Korda.co.uk had recently launched Korda24.com, an e-commerce version of their site that allows users to order Korda products from their nearest dealer online. The Korda24.com site had very little traction and was not being found by users. The main Korda.co.uk site had a large volume of traffic but no monetisation.
Candour worked with the incumbent tech providers to have the site generate a data feed of products that could be used with Google Adwords. This allowed shopping adverts to be run along with standard search ads, informing customers they could buy directly from the site.
A technical SEO audit was conducted highlighting barriers to the site ranking well. The team then started both on-site optimisation and link acquisition to improve the natural rankings of the site.
Using the vast amount of video content on Korda.co.uk, Candour helped Korda to monetise this content on YouTube, creating a significant secondary revenue stream from millions of video views.
Continual optimisation of PPC provided 267% ROAS. Lifetime average ROAS of 162% and PPC is now the primary source of new customer acquisition.
The first six months of the SEO campaign saw a 350% increase in organic traffic and a significant new monthly revenue stream from YouTube.
